Fix Windows 7 & Vista Update Errors With Fix WU

Every Windows user knows the importance of keeping Windows Update service turned on. But many a time, Windows Update simply stops working for some reasons. Here is a small utility that helps you fix Windows update errors with a single click.
Fix WU (Windows Update) is a portable utility for Vista and Windows 7 that fixes Windows update errors by re-registering a total of 114 dll, ocx and .ax files, which are required for the proper functioning of Windows Updates.
To fix a Windows Update error, simply run the utility and wait for a few seconds to see the successful message.

One of our readers has asked a way to disable “Log off” on Windows 7 Start menu. Windows 7 doesn’t allow you remove log off entry from Windows 7 start menu easily. You need to either play with Windows registry or Local Group Policy to make this happen.
If you are running Windows 7 Professional or ultimate, you can remove log off entry via Group Policy. But Windows 7 Home Basic and Home Premium editions don’t come with Group Policy editor. So you need to disable the entry via Windows registry.
