If you are not sure how to restore Recycle Bin icon in Windows 7 desktop, just follow the simple steps mentioned below.
1. Right-click on desktop and select Personalize.

2. In the left pane, click Change desktop icons to open Desktop icons settings box.

3. Now, select Recycle Bin under Desktop icons section and click Apply.
