Although viewing hidden files in Windows might seem like an easier task for most of Windows users, many users are not aware of the same. Viewing a hidden file or folder in Windows 7 is a simple task. The procedure is also not different from the steps that you need to follow in Windows Vista and XP.

To view a hidden file or folder in Windows 7, just follow the simple steps given below:

 

1. Open Windows explorer. To do this, just open any folder on your desktop or in other drive.

2. Click on Organize > Folder and search options.

 

3. Once you see the Folder Options, switch to View tab.

 

4. Under View tab, locate the option named Show hidden files, folders, or drives and select it.

5. Click on the Apply button to view your files or folder.
